Hi, I’m Valerie, the decorator behind Blue Bird Designs. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces that feel like home. After officially opening my business just over a year ago, I’ve been fortunate to work on multiple projects each one deepening my love for decorating and sharpening my eye for detail.
I believe great design is more than just looks it’s about creating spaces that work seamlessly for everyday life. That’s why I’m constantly studying new trends, refining my skills, and paying attention to the small details that make a big difference. My goal is always to bring timeless style and practicality together in a way that feels personal to you.
When I’m not decorating, you’ll usually find me outdoors hiking with my husband and our two little boys, catching up with friends over coffee, or serving at First Source for Women, a local organization that supports moms experiencing unplanned pregnancies. These moments keep me grounded and inspire me to design homes that are not only beautiful, but filled with warmth and meaning.
